General Terms

I ask you to read and agree to the following terms of service. By working with me, it is under the assumption that you’ve read the terms and agree to them.
I reserve the right to add, edit, or remove anything stated below for any reason.
Clients will be subject to the document according to the time in which they placed their order.
I reserve the right to deny a commission for any reason.
I will not accept commissions of copyrighted characters or owned by another person.
I cannot provide a pet free environment while working. If you have a severe allergy to dogs and cats, it is unsafe to order a suit from me.
Understand that this is a wearable, hand and machine sewn costume. There may be flaws due to human error, however I will try my best to satisfy the client’s requests.
I will not work with anyone under the age of 18 years old.
All clients must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a custom commission from me, no exceptions. I will require a form of identification for age verification. This can be a photo image of the client’s driver’s license, passport, or school ID. I have the right to cancel a commission if you cannot/will not verify your age.

Communication

Once progress begins, WIPS (Work in progress pictures) will be sent for client approval. I may ask for approval during certain stages (Example, duct tape patterning) and delay in answering will result in delays.
If there is any delay or setback, you will be informed of it at the soonest notice.
Messages from clients will be answered within 48 hours.

Payment

Payment may either be upfront or 30% upfront, with the rest being paid within 3 months.
The 30% deposit is non-refundable. No exceptions; it is used to purchase materials.
Payment is in USD.
Payment deposit must be complete within 72 hours or the slot is forfeited.
No progress will begin on the suit until the project is fully paid off.

Creation Process

Client must send me a reference sheet of their character before I am able to start anything. Please ensure your reference sheet is an unshaded digital image with multiple views of your character.
Once I start crafting the fursuit, please allow a minimum of 3-6 months to complete the work.
The client will be shown wip pictures of the suit while it is being made. Input is encouraged.
All measurements are taken at face value, meaning it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all measurements are correct before being sent to me. Please measure in inches. For bodysuits, it is asked that you make a DTD (duct tape dummy) and ship it to me.
Hard deadlines are not accepted at this time.
I will not accept rush fees. I prefer to work at a comfortable pace and ensure I can deliver a high quality product.

Shipping

Shipping will be paid separately after the commission is finished.
Customer must cover the entire shipping cost, including any custom fees/taxes.
Shipment is done through FedEx, but can be shipped from USPS or UPS at client request.
I will declare the full value of the suit, with insurance, for shipping.
I am not responsible for lost packages. I will try to locate the package to the best of my ability if lost.
I am not responsible for any damages during shipping. Postal insurance will be offered and it is the client’s responsibility to pay for it.

Warranty and repairs

I offer a warranty of 60 days since receiving the suit.
Shipping must be covered by the client.
This includes holes, popped seams, or missing pieces. This does NOT include stains, mold, fire damage, and improper care of the suit.
I am happy to guide clients through small repairs and washing their suit.
Any repairs or adjustments past the 60 day guarantee will be subject to labor and material costs. The cost for repairs vary based on the work that needs to be done. Clients must wash their fursuit before returning it to me. A cleaning fee of $75 USD will be applied if I deem the fursuit to be smelly or noticeably dirty/stained. Shipping is the clients responsibility.
I can also offer minor at-con repairs if we are attending the same convention.
I am not responsible for any injury that you may sustain while wearing one of my fursuits. Fursuits can make the wearer very warm, and vision/breathability will be impaired to some degree. Please fursuit responsibly by taking breaks when needed, drinking a lot of water, and being aware of your surroundings.

Cancellation and refunds

I reserve the right to refund and cancel the commission for any reason.
You have the right to cancel your order for any reason.
I do NOT offer a refund after the work has been completed.
In case of cancellation of the project, 50% of the payment IS NON-REFUNDABLE once the fur has been ordered. If no materials have been ordered, 20% is NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you decide to cancel your commission while it’s in the making, we will calculate a refund that will depend on how much time was spent on your order. I have the right to keep any work that I may have started and make modifications to resell the project or use the parts or materials for another project.
